My little episode of building a website: My domain was blocked by Blogger in five days, so I decisively switched to Xlog.

Originally, I was excited to set up a small site with Blogger, planning to start writing something to record my life and thoughts, but just a few days later, the site was blocked! Yes, that familiar screen of "This website is not accessible."

The subdomain assigned by Blogger is indeed not accessible, but I saw those bloggers online saying that binding your own domain would make it accessible.

Misconception: At first, binding it works, but it doesn't last long before it gets blocked.
The manifestation of the domain being blocked is: you can ping it through a ping tool, but you can't open the webpage; when you turn on the VPN, it works again.

Fortunately, I discovered this new land called Xlog and quickly bound my domain there, and the site came back to life.
Now there aren't many articles, so the migration was relatively easy. Although this process was a hassle, it also made me a bit sentimental, so I decided to write it down to record this "little episode of building a site."

I hope Xlog can hold on for a longer time and not cool down so quickly.
However, currently, there are still too few customizable options in Xlog, especially regarding themes.
